Summary: A short tragic fanfic. Lloyd is killed by an evil Colette during his wedding.
Lloyd has always loved Colette. Colette has always loved him. When he proposes to her, she accepts with a smile but Lloyd doesn't notice that her smile is mocking and that her Cruxis Crystal has changed from red to dark purple.
On the wedding day Lloyd, dressed in a tuxedo, reunited with his beloved. Her wedding dress sparkles in the sun. The guests, seated in the pews of the church, hold their breath as the couple says, “I do.”
Lloyd was about to kiss Colette when her hand squeezed his neck.
“Co...Colette...?” Lloyd asked.
Colette laughed.
“My Colette, why...?” said Lloyd, quickly running out of air.
Genis, his sister Raine, Presea, Regal, Zelos and Sheena jumped to their feet.
“Colette, what are you doing?!” asks Sheena.
“I love you, Lloyd,” says Colette, ignoring Sheena. “I love you so much that I'm going to keep your soul in my Cruxis Crystal!”
“What?!” exclaims Genis.
“This is madness!” says Raine. “Colette, what's happening to you?”
“We have to stop her,” says Presea.
“Lloyd won't be able to hold out much longer!” says Regal.
“Oh my! An evil Colette at her own wedding. I wasn't expecting that today,” says Zelos.
Colette shouts “Enough!” and effortlessly breaks Lloyd's neck. As she drops his body, the other guests run out of the church.
“Hmm, hmm, hmm ♩! Where is your soul, my darling?” asks Colette as Genis, Raine, Presea, Regal, Zelos and Sheena prepare to fight her.
